# Poople

> Poople is a free online word ladder game. Players change one letter at a time to transform a starting four-letter word into the target word POOP. The game is also known as Poople Wordle or Poop Wordle — word-ladder variants of the Wordle daily-puzzle format.

Poople is a free, browser-based word ladder puzzle. Every puzzle starts with a four-letter English word, and players change exactly one letter per step — through a chain of valid common English words — to reach the target word POOP. There is a daily shared challenge that resets at midnight, plus an unlimited practice mode. Each puzzle has an expert-set "par" (minimum steps), and players can use up to three progressive hints per puzzle.

## Game mechanics

- Every puzzle starts with a four-letter English word.
- Players change exactly one letter per step.
- Each intermediate word must be a valid common English word.
- The target is always POOP.
- Daily mode: one shared puzzle per day, resets at midnight.
- Unlimited mode: random puzzles from the same curated pool.
- Par: expert-set minimum step count. Under par = three stars.
- Hints: up to 3 per puzzle, progressive (first letter → first+last → full word).
