About Poople
Poople is built by albacube — and it started, like a lot of good things, with being stuck on a puzzle.
I am a poople game fan first. I played the daily word ladder puzzles religiously, and most days I loved them. But some days I would stare at the grid for twenty minutes, change one letter, hit a dead end, and have no idea where to go next. No hint. No second chance. Just a long wait until midnight.
That frustration became the blueprint for Poople. I wanted a version of the game I already loved, but with two things the original lacked:
- Unlimited mode — so the fun does not end after one puzzle a day. Practice as much as you want, whenever you want.
- Helpful hints — because sometimes you genuinely cannot see the next word, and a gentle nudge should exist instead of a brick wall.
Along the way a few more ideas crept in: a built-in solver to check any answer, personal stats to track your streak, and a par system that turns each puzzle into a small personal challenge.
Everything here is free, runs in your browser, and never asks you to sign up. That is the whole point.
